                          IEEE Multimedia                     Special Issue on Media Spaces                   Submissions due: August 31, 1998 Media spaces are large, shared, interactive, media-rich environments that use a combination of 2-D/3-D graphics, video, sound, speech, images and networking to create compelling interfaces for a variety of applications including learning, entertainment, social interaction and business. Original, unpublished research and practice & experience papers are sought that address issues in the design, implementation, and evaluation of media spaces.
