Regarding the use of popups in a web-based math text book:

There are two problems that need to be considered:
1. Oclusion: Where will the pop up open? Will it occluded the problem?
2. One or many popups: Will there be one pop-up per example, or will the
user need to choose which of the pop-ups to open?
