The Adobe Awards for Artist Engagement will enable three practising artists to participate and engage with the CHI conference and community, encouraging multidisciplinary interaction and promoting the role of artists in the future of interactive technology.

To apply for the Award, artists must submit a two-page pdf statement of application including:

- Indication of what they would bring to CHI.
- Description of what they hope to gain from attending CHI 2013.
- How they intend to use the $950 award.
