Town Hall Meeting:
Toward A New Academic Association for HCI in the Asia-Pacific Region
Tuesday, May 8 12:50-14:10 at Meeting Room 17AB (4th floor).
Austin Convention Center
To activate and elevate the level of both research and industry of HCI
and related fields in the whole Asia-Pacific region, there is a plan to
establish a new academic association in Asia-Pacific Region.
In this town hall meeting, the current progress towards creating the
regional association will be reported by the AP HCI researchers from the
current core working group. This will be followed by an audience Q&A
session. People interested in shaping the future of HCI activities in
the Asia-Pacific region are encouraged to attend.
