An Ada based web site for SIGAda'98 registration has been proposed and is
presently under negotiation.

There has been some discussion on the use of Ada for GUIs. Please look at
R. C. Leif, T. Moran, and R. Brukardt, "Ada 95, The Language Speaks for
Itself", Object Magazine, Implementation Languages, 7 (3) pp. 32-39, May
(1997).

RR's CLAW is a miraculous product. It permits code to be developed for
Windows that a normal mortal can read!

The normally very healthy drive for standardization present in the Ada
community has had one very detrimental effect. We spin our wheels
interfacing to C and C++ products. One of the greatest virtues of Ada is
that the elegance of the language will show through the human interface. Be
creative! It is counter productive for word-processing and spreadsheets to
use a mouse or other pointing device. The PC keyboard is beginning to look
like it is for a pipe organ.
