A while ago on the list there was some discussion about colour
palettes appropriate to low light conditions. I'm posing a more tricky
question.

Do people know of any research that determines the best compromise of
palette if a system is to be used in low light, and bright conditions.

This is specifically with regard to in-flight entertainment on
aircraft.

Please let me know, and I'll summarise for the list.
