Next issue, N. 16, of the International Journal IxD&A (Interaction 
Design & Architecture(s))
will be dedicated to:

"Horizon 2020: Smart City Learning"

and will include selected contributes presented at Alpine Rendez-Vouz 
2013 during the homonymous workshop.
Submission of contributions for this special issue is now open:

Important dates:
10 march -> deadline for paper submission
10 april -> notification of acceptance/rejection
30 april -> special issue publication

Topic of interest:

• Pedagogical approaches, strategies, process and methods best suited 
for Smart City Learning
• Identification of relevant skills and competencies
• Technological Ecosystems supporting learning in and from the 'Smart 
Cities'
• The "mediator/trigger/supporting" role of technology
• "Fluxes" relevant to smart city learning
• Services that can incorporate learning
• Redefinition and redesign of learning spaces
• Crowd sourcing and/or redefinition of content formats and functionalities
• The impact of contextualization, glocalities, identities
• Ecological monitoring and visualization of flows, behaviors, 
experience's styles
• Data security and privacy issues
• Resilience and possible autopoietical redefinition of Smart City Learning
• Pilot projects of Smart City Learning
• Future scenarios of Smart City Learning
