Call for Participation

Join us at the ACM Multimedia 2013, the premier conference and
worldwide event bringing together multimedia experts and practitioners
across academia and industry. The central feature of the conference,
which
continues this year as in every year since its inception, is the
outstanding Technical Program. This year’s conference features both
oral and poster presentations covering all aspects of the multimedia
field chosen through a highly selective review process.

In addition to the Technical Program, the conference features a
diverse range of activities including Panels, Demonstrations, and
Tutorials. Moreover, a wide array of Workshops brings focus on new
topics for investigation. The conference features special sessions on
Brave New Ideas in Multimedia, a Multimedia Grand Challenge contest, a
panel on Cross-Media Analysis and Mining and an Open Source Software
Competition. It also includes a Doctoral Symposium for mentoring
graduate students. Finally, the conference provides a rich Multimedia
Art Exhibition to stimulate artists and researchers alike to meet and
discover the frontiers of multimedia artistic communication!

from industry leaders, geared to engage the Multimedia research
community in solving relevant, interesting and challenging questions
about the industry’s 3-5 year vision for multimedia The Multimedia
Grand Challenge has established itself as a prestigious competition in
the multimedia community. This year’s conference will continue the
tradition with by repeating previous challenges, and by introducing
