The members of the elected board is composed by:

• Karl Donert, Eurogeo
• Carlo Giovannella, Tor Vergata University of Rome - Dept. of 
Educational Science and Technologies (coordinator)
• Alke Martens, Rostock University

The board remains in office for three years.

We remind that the Observatory focuses on how the smartness of the 
territory will affect the future learning (spaces, processes, methods, 
etc.) in a person/people-in-place centered, glocal and co-evolutive 
perspective, being learning the root of such smartness.
