UMAP 2013 - 21st International Conference
on User Modeling, Adaptation, and Personalization

June 10-14, 2013
Rome, Italy
www.umap2013.org

--------------------------------------------------------------

CALL FOR LATE-BREAKING RESULTS
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 19, 2013

Similar to poster and demonstration papers, late-breaking results (6
pages) contain unpublished accounts of innovative research ideas,
preliminary results, system prototypes or industry showcases.

In addition, we welcome project posters: short papers (3 pages) that
introduce newly started research projects or that summarize project results.

Late-breaking results will be published in the online extended
proceedings of UMAP 2013 hosted by CEUR-WS.
Accepted submissions will be presented at the poster reception.

Submissions should be made through the EasyChair conference system and
adhere to the Springer LNCS format. All submissions will be
peer-reviewed. Final copies of the accepted contributions should be sent
in due time in order for them to be included in the extended conference
proceedings. At least one of the authors should register and take part
at the conference to make the presentation.

POSTER CHAIRS:
Olga C. Santos, UNED, Spain
Eelco Herder, L3S Research Center, Germany

--------------------------------------------------------------

The International Conference on User Modeling, Adaptation, and
Personalization (UMAP) is the premier international conference for
researchers and practitioners working on systems that adapt to their
individual users, or to groups of users, and collect and represent
information about users for this purpose.

The conference spans a wide scope of topics related to user modeling and
personalization, including construction of user models, adaptive
responses, tailoring of search results, recommending products, Web usage
mining, collaborative and content-based filtering.

As the combination of the two leading conference series in this area,
UMAP is now the single "place to be" for anyone involved in user
modeling, adaptation, and personalization. The conference proceedings
will be widely available in the Springer series Lecture Notes in
Computer Science. Moreover, they will be included in the ACM Digital
Library.
