--- Apologies for cross-posting ---

We invite your submission to our workshop on Spatial Interaction in Virtual/Augmented Reality and Games, to be held at ISS 2016 in Niagara Falls, Canada (Nov. 6-9). We seek original position papers or technical papers documenting research contributions, practice and experience, or novel applications, from all areas of spatial interaction relating to games or VR. User interface evaluations are strongly encouraged for all technical publications.

Submissions are of variable length, and paper length must be based on the weight of the contribution. Papers are up to 7 formatted pages in length and should describe research or design within the scope of spatial interaction in games and/or VR/AR. Submitted papers should be anonymous. Submissions must not be previously published or accepted for publication elsewhere and must not be under review by any other publication venue during the review period.

All submissions should be prepared in the ACM SIGCHI Extended Abstracts format. Supplementary videos are strongly encouraged. Submissions should address one or more of the following topics within spatial user interaction. Topics should be somehow linked to games and or virtual/reality. Unlisted but strongly related topics are also welcome.

- Spatial interaction techniques
- Spatial user interface metaphors
- Spatial input devices and technology
- Interaction on spatial, stereoscopic, and 3D displays
- Evaluation methods for spatial user interaction
- Collaborative interaction in 3D space
- Design and user experience (UX) for spatial user interaction
- Applications of human spatial perception to interaction
- Adaptive and perceptual-inspired spatial user interaction
- Applications of spatial UIs, such as games, entertainment, CAD, education
- Gesture-based spatial interaction
- Tangible spatial user interaction
- Multi-touch technologies for spatial user interaction
- Desktop interfaces for spatial interaction
- Multisensory and other novel forms of spatial user interaction

Accepted work will be published in non-archival companion proceedings indexed in the ACM Digital Library. Please note that at least one author of each accepted submission will be required to register for the workshop and ISS conference. Submissions should be made to EasyChair via the following link: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sivarg16
