WORKSHOP THEME: End User Development in Ambient Intelligence

Ambient Intelligence offers unprecedented opportunities to achieve deeper, more meaningful and faster insights by putting the user at the center of informative systems, ambient and personal sensors, communicative tools, and mobile and ubiquitous computing devices. Designing, programming or managing this network of things and persons is becoming suitable for all thanks to visual interfaces and interaction strategies for supporting customization, personalization and EUD.

Specifically, the purpose of the workshop is to explore how to integrate things, information systems and mainly people (through their participation) for supporting end user development and cultures of participation in different domains.

***********************************************************************

WORKSHOP TOPICS

This workshop aims to bring together representative members of the industrial and scientific communities that have experience in, or are interested in applying the End User Development paradigm to the domain of Ambient Intelligence.
