MIDI 2015: Invitation and Call for Papers

   29-30 June, 2015, Warsaw (Poland)

PJAIT - Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland,
invites all researchers to participate in MIDI (Multimedia, Interaction,
Design and Innovation) International Conference, organized 29-30 June 2015
in Warsaw, Poland.

MIDI conference is a quality-oriented event with attendance limited to about
50 participants in order to stimulate lively, thought-provoking discussions,
and to provide conditions for establishing memorable personal contacts.

In 2015, MIDI Conference will be organized jointly with the eminent European
Conference of Cognitive Ergonomics (ECCE), what will give multiple benefits
for participants taking part in both events.

MIDI offers an unique opportunity to bring together researchers and
practitioners working in diverse areas of interaction design for digital
products of any type - hardware, software, services, games and art.

MIDI Conference invites novel submissions on all topics related to
innovative design of interactions between humans, products and on-line
services. We welcome submissions that include any of the following topics:

-- interactive multimedia and multimodal interaction

-- interaction in e-services design

-- IT-enabled innovation and creativity

-- novel HCI methodologies

-- last-minute reports and case studies.

Please check for more details at

Vivid atmosphere of MIDI attracts both mature and young researchers,
including PhD students, graduate students and post-docs, who are all invited
to publish their analytical work or new research in relevant areas.

In addition to paper sessions, a lively showroom "Interactive demos and
prototypes" is an important part of the MIDI program, giving participants
stark inspirations for their own projects and igniting their research ideas.

Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is a vibrant, modern city, remembering its
rich history: visitors' program of the conference will offer excellent
opportunities to expand participants' experience with the variety of
attractions the city has to offer.

Because MIDI conference gathers many young researchers eager for combining
professional discussions with fun and entertainment, we always offer rather
uncommon social events, aimed at sharing enjoyable, action-based experience
among all MIDI participants.

Please check the snapshots from previous MIDI conferences:

Before sending full papers, at first a short abstract (ca. 1500 chars) of a
proposed presentation should be uploaded via the Easychair MIDI website.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by an international Program Committee

-- accepted full papers (8-10 pages on ACM SIGCHI template) will be accepted
to the main conference proceedings to be published in the ACM Digital

-- accepted short papers (work-in-progress, industrial experiences and case
studies) will be published by the PJAIT as on-line proceedings with an ISBN
in Open Access under Creative Commons license with indexing in Google
Scholar and DBLP Computer Science Bibliography.
