There is a free program available called procmail which you can use to
intercept mail as it comes in and sort it into various files (and do a lot
more with it).  That may be of use if Netscape will allow you to shift
mail files/folders.

procmail seems robust, though I haven't used it long.  The distribution
includes very well done man pages.
