ACM SIGMOBILE Test-of-Time Paper Award

The SIGMOBILE Test-of-Time Paper Award recognize papers that have had a sustained and significant impact in the SIGMOBILE community over at least a decade. For more information on the award see SIGMOBILE Test-of-Time Award:

Nomination process

We invite anyone to submit a nomination by the deadline of January 15, 2016. The award will be made on March 31, 2016. Criteria for submission are as follows:

All papers published at least 10 years ago in a SIGMOBILE venue are eligible for this award including UbiComp, SenSys, MobiCom, MobiHoc, MobiSys. In addition, papers published at least 10 years ago in other venues are also eligible if they have had an exceptional influence on the SIGMOBILE community.

Each submission must include a brief nomination letter (no longer than two pages) justifying why the submission should be considered for the test of time award; explaining how the paper has influenced the SIGMOBILE community. Anyone can nominate a paper except the author or co-author of the nominated paper. A single individual can only nominate up to 3 papers in any one year. Papers authored by members of the award committee are eligible for submission.

Presentation of awards will be made at SIGMOBILE sponsored conference venues during 2016. This will be up to the awardees. It is likely that one or more papers will be awarded each year.

Under "author information" put your information as the person nominating the paper. Under "title" put the name of the nominated paper, Under "keywords" list the general technical areas the paper contributes to (e.g., operating systems, ad hoc communications, applications, HCI, etc). Under "uploads" include your nomination letter (max two pages). Then click submit.
