PERSUASIVE 06

First International Conference on Persuasive Technology for Human Well-being

18 – 19 May 2006, Eindhoven, the Netherlands
=============================================================

Dear Colleague

We would like to announce the extended deadline for Persuasive 06, in
response to numerous requests from colleagues in the field. The official
deadline is now December 1st. Unortunately, the schedule for reviewing,
revising and publishing of the Lecture Notes is now very tight, making it
impossible for us to extend it any further.

The goal of PERSUASIVE 06 is to bring together a multidisciplinary group of
social scientists studying persuasion, and engineers developing persuasive
technologies in areas such as health and rehabilitation, housing,
information and communication, and energy conservation, so they can meet,
share experiences, present research, and exchange ideas.

PERSUASIVE 06 is aimed at exploring technology in the service of human well-
being, within the broader context of a socially and ecologically
sustainable society.

Keynote speaker: B.J. Fogg, author of Persuasive Technology - Using
Computers to Change What We Think and Do, and director of Stanford
University’s Persuasive Technology Lab

Before submitting your manuscript, please check submission guidelines as
