(alt.HRI Deadline Extended to 14 December, 2015, 11:59 PDT)

11th ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI 2016)

 <http://humanrobotinteraction.org/2016/authors/>
http://humanrobotinteraction.org/2016/

Conference: March 7-10, 2016, Christchurch, New Zealand

HRI 2016 Call for Late-Breaking Reports

Important Dates:

7 December 2015: Submission Deadline
4 January 2016: Notification of acceptance
17 January 2016: Final camera-ready deadline
7 – 10 March, 2016: Main Conference

The Late-Breaking Reports (LBR) session is a venue for early stage research
results, as compared to the full-paper track of the conference.

Submission instructions

Authors are invited to submit Late Breaking Report manuscripts depicting
work in progress in all related areas of Human Robot Interaction. Two (2)
anonymized camera-ready pages (templates are available for MS Word and
LaTeX2e), including figures and references, are allowed for each late
breaking report. HRI 2016 Late Breaking Reports will follow a double-blind
peer-review process. Authors should therefore review the HRI guidelines for
anonymizing submissions while preparing their submissions. Late Breaking
reports must be submitted according the deadlines above to the PCS
submission and review website. Accepted late breaking reports will be
published in the “extended abstracts” of the conference, archived in the ACM
Digital Library and the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, and be presented in a
poster session. For questions, please contact program co-chairs Omar Mubin
([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> ) and
Mohammad Obaid ([log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> ).

See the website for additional information for preparing LBR submissions:

HRI 2016 Call for Videos

Important Dates:

7 December 2015: Deadline for submission of videos
23 December 2015: Notification of acceptance
4 January 2016: Final camera-ready videos due
7 – 10 March, 2016: Main Conference

We invite videos related to all aspects of HRI. The videos must be
self-explanatory for the audience. Besides the importance of the lessons
learned, impact of content and the novelty of the situation, the
entertainment value will be judged. The videos will be peer-reviewed based
on these criteria. Accepted videos will be published in the conference
proceedings and archived in the ACM Digital Library.

Submission instructions

Please submit your videos through the submission review website. The
submission deadline is December 07, 2015. The maximum number of pages is one
(1) for video content abstract. MS Word and LaTeX2e templates will soon be
provided to the authors.

HRI 2016 Call for Demonstrations

Important Dates:

7 December 2015: Deadline for submission of demonstrations
23 December 2015: Notification of acceptance
4 January 2016: Final camera-ready version
7 – 10 March, 2016: Main Conference

We invite demonstration proposals for cutting-edge prototype systems that
make interaction with robots more intuitive, seamless, and pleasant, or
otherwise illustrate some human-robot interaction concept in an exciting and
engaging way.

Submission instructions

Abstracts for video submissions will follow the same guidelines as the full
papers, using the same MS Word and LaTeX2e templates, but will be limited to
one page. Accepted video abstracts will be published in the “extended
abstracts” of the conference (a companion publication to the “main
proceedings” of the conference), archived in the ACM Digital Library, and be
presented at a video session during HRI 2016. Please submit the required
documents through the submission and review website by December 7, 2015.

HRI 2016 Call for alt.HRI (Deadline Extended)

Important Dates:

14 December 2015: Submission Deadline
4 January 2016: Notification of acceptance
17 January 2016: Final camera-ready deadline
7 – 10 March, 2016: Main Conference

alt.HRI invites high-quality submissions that push the boundaries of
human-robot interaction research and that have high potential for impact.
The goal for alt.HRI is to broaden the scope of research presented at HRI
2016. alt.HRI is methodologically inclusive, and especially welcoming
unusual and innovative research methods. We invite thought-provoking work
that might not otherwise be featured at the conference because it transcends
established contribution criteria.

Submission instructions

Accepted papers will be *orally presented* in the main program and will be
archived in the ACM Digital Library and IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Up to
eight anonymized, camera-ready pages in the IEEE format
(http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.htm
l), including references, are allowed for each paper (templates available
online for MS Word and LaTeX2e). alt.HRI 2016 will follow a double-blind
review process, and authors must follow the HRI guidelines for anonymizing
submissions
(http://humanrobotinteraction.org/2016/guidelines-for-anonymizing-submission
s/).

Full papers must be submitted via PCS
