18th International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking (ICDCN


4-7 January 2017, Hyderabad, India


*** Submission Deadline: July 22nd, 2016 ***


ICDCN (International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking) is
a premier 

international conference dedicated to addressing advances in Distributed
Computing and 

Communication Networks, which over the years, has become a leading forum for

disseminating the latest research results in these fields. The 18th edition
of this 

conference will be organised in Hyderabad, hosted by Institute for
Development and 

Research in Banking Technology (Established by RBI). 


ICDCN 2017 will comprise a highly selective technical program consisting of

submitted papers, panel discussions and focused workshops on emerging topics

Distributed Computing and Networking. ICDCN 2017 will be held in Hyderabad,
India during 

January 4-7, 2017. Conference papers will be published in the ACM Digital

Selected papers will be invited for fast-track publication in high-quality


Papers describing original research work and practical
experiences/experimental results 

are solicited on topics that tentatively include, but are not limited to: 


Distributed Computing Track Topics:

* Distributed algorithms: design, analysis, and complexity

* Distributed operating systems

* Distributed database systems

* Distributed multimedia systems

* Embedded distributed systems, sensors and mobile robots

* Formal methods for distributed systems

* Experimental evaluation of distributed systems

* Fault-tolerance, reliability, and availability of distributed systems

* Security, privacy, cryptography in distributed systems

* Self-organization, self-stabilization, & autonomic computing

* Multiprocessor and multi-core architectures

* High performance computing, cloud computing and Big Data processing


Networking Track Topics:

* Ad-hoc, sensor, PAN and mesh networks

* Internetworking protocols & Internet applications

* Cellular networks (4G/LTE)

* Network function virtualization and Mobile edge computing

* Data center and cloud networking

* Software-defined and cognitive networks

* Mobile and pervasive computing and networking

* Next generation & converged network architectures

* Overlay & P2P networks and services

* Network security & privacy

* Energy-efficient networking & Smart Grid

* Pricing and network economics



ICDCN 2017 will be soliciting submissions as either regular or short

contribution) papers. At least one author of each accepted paper must

*** Paper Submission Instructions

ICDCN 2017 solicits high quality original manuscripts not submitted or being

considered elsewhere. 


Regular papers should not exceed 10 pages, and concise papers (marked with

in the title) should not exceed 4 pages, double column including figures,
tables and 

references in standard ACM format. Additional details may be included in a

appendix, not exceeding one page, that will be read at the discretion of the



Some papers not accepted as regular papers may be accepted as "Concise
papers" with 4 ACM 

pages in the proceedings while full papers will be allowed 10 ACM pages. 


All submissions must be made electronically in printable pdf form via the

submission management system. Specific instructions for the paper
submissions are 

available at the conference web site.



Warning: It is ACM policy not to allow double submissions, where the same
paper is 

submitted to more than one conference/journal concurrently. Any double

detected will be immediately rejected from all conferences/journals
