We hereby would like to announce the Call for Papers, Demos, Posters,
Tutorials, and Spectrum Challenge proposals for IEEE DySPAN 2015. Please
distribute to your colleagues and students.

IEEE DySPAN 2015 – Dynamic Spectrum Access Networks

September 29 – October 2 2015, Stockholm, Sweden

*New for DySPAN 2015 is the 5G Spectrum Challenge – more info below.*

IEEE DySPAN 2015 will be held September 29 – October 2 2015 in Stockholm,
Sweden. The aim of this conference is to offer a unique opportunity to
both technical and policy contributions in the domain of dynamic spectrum
access networks, now under the label “5G”. Although still not clearly
defined, “5G” seems to be about more than just more wireless capacity, and
there is more than ever need for innovative solutions. IEEE DySPAN 2015
will feature a comprehensive technical program including world-class
plenary speakers, tutorials, oral and power technical and policy sessions,
and a workshop. Special to IEEE DySPAN is also the importance of
demonstrations and new this year also a 5G Spectrum Challenge.

The topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

*Technology program topics*

   - Spectrum measurement and models
   - Interference metrics and measurements
   - Privacy and security of DSA
   - Experimental prototypes and results
   - New spectrum sharing models
   - Licensed shared access
   - Geolocation Datebase systems for spectrum sharing
   - Information-theoretic aspects of spectrum sharing
   - Energy-efficient DSA
   - MAC and routing protocols for DSA
   - Learning and prediction in DSA
   - Hardware architectures and implementation
   - Context-awareness in DSA
   - Spectrum for Novel Applications
   - Small Cells and Heterogeneous networks
   - Cooperative and coordinated communication networks
   - Radio resource management and interference coordination
   - Cooperative spectrum sensing and localization
   - Spectrum Aggregation

*Policy program topics*

   - Business models and pricing for dynamic spectrum access
   - Market trends for secondary spectrum usage
   - Regulatory models for dynamic spectrum access
   - Software regulation / standardization and equipment certification
   - Industrial and government role in dynamic spectrum access
   - Dynamic spectrum auctions and economics with focus on incentive
   - Spectrum etiquettes and coexistence models
   - Spectrum sharing vs Infrastructure sharing
   - Implications of Cloud RAN systems
   - Defining / enforcing rights and responsibilities of spectrum licensees
   and easement
   - Standardization of DSA technology

Prospective authors are encouraged to *submit full papers* up to 12 pages
through EDAS.

Important dates for *regular papers *:

   - Paper submission : April 15, 2015
   - Acceptance notification : June 1, 2015
   - Final papers due : August 10, 2015

IEEE DySPAN 2015 is also soliciting proposals for *tutorials*, and invites
you to submit proposals on any topic related to the broad set of research
and application areas covered by IEEE DySPAN 2015, by May 15.

*Demo and poster* papers up to 4 pages are also welcome, and should be
submitted by May 15.

*A 5G Spectrum Challenge* will be held as a new platform to engage
researchers in the field around a specific given relevant problem.
Prospective challenge participants are asked to submit a 2 page proposal by
April 15, and a full implementation by August 10.

*Important dates:*

   - submission deadline regular track, challenge: April 15
