Call For Workshops

The MOBICASE 2015 Conference caters for a limited number of workshops on
dedicated topics related to the area of Mobile Computing, Applications,
and Services. The aim of these workshops is to discuss work in progress
and explore opportunities for new research towards upcoming and
accompanying topics of interest within the context of the main
conference. Workshops will be held the day before the main conference at
the conference value (adjunct workshops at other locations in Berlin are
welcome to apply for inclusion into the official program and/or
proceedings). Proposals will be evaluated regarding anticipated interest
and contribution to the overall program.

Workshop organizers should submit their proposals to the MobiCase
workshop chair by email ([log in to unmask]), no later than August 3rd
23:59 Jun. 12nd 23:59 (EST), 2015. The subject of the email should be
“Mobicase Workshop Proposal" and include:

* The name of the workshop
* A preliminary call for papers containing the goals for the workshop
* The names/affiliations and contact information of the organizer(s)
* The names of planned technical program comittee, panel members and/or
keynote speakers if already known
* The planned length of the workshop (half-day/full day) and number of
expected participants of the workshop (e.g., past history of the
workshop, if applicable).
* Two references to the most relevant publication within the workshop
topic area (e.g. from past workshops)

Workshop organizers are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals as
early as possible for proposals are evaluated on a continuous basis
right after their arrival.Particularly successful workshops may be
accepted earlier which allows for more time for advertising the event.

All notifications will be sent out no later than August 5th.

Presentations delivered during the workshops are typically based on
extended abstracts or position papers up to 6 pages that have been
selected through peer-review process and are included in the conference
proceedings (if not planed otherwise, e.g. for industrial workshops).
The preliminary call included in the proposal should thus already
include initial submission information. Please note that in order to
provide the venue and to allow inclusion of the workshop into the
proceedings, workshop participants will be required to register for the
conference.

Please contact the MobiCase workshop chair, Till Riedel
([log in to unmask]), if you have any questions.

* Workshop proposal deadline: August 3rd
* Workshop proposal notification deadline: August 5th (Prioritized
notifications before proposal deadline are possible)
* Workshop paper cam-ready deadline: September 30th(!)

Proposals for workshops should be at most four pages in length and must
be submitted by 3 August 2015 by electronic mail to workshop chair, Till
Riedel: [log in to unmask]
