Call For Workshops

The MOBICASE 2015 Conference caters for a limited number of workshops on 
dedicated topics related to the area of Mobile Computing, Applications, 
and Services. The aim of these workshops is to discuss work in progress 
and explore opportunities for new research towards upcoming and 
accompanying topics of interest within the context of the main 
conference. Workshops will be held the day before the main conference at 
the conference value (adjunct workshops at other locations in Berlin are 
welcome to apply for inclusion into the official program and/or 
proceedings). Proposals will be evaluated regarding anticipated interest 
and contribution to the overall program.

Workshop organizers should submit their proposals to the MobiCase 
workshop chair by email ([log in to unmask]), no later than August 3rd 
23:59 Jun. 12nd 23:59 (EST), 2015. The subject of the email should be 
“Mobicase Workshop Proposal" and include:

* The name of the workshop
* A preliminary call for papers containing the goals for the workshop
* The names/affiliations and contact information of the organizer(s)
* The names of planned technical program comittee, panel members and/or 
keynote speakers if already known
* The planned length of the workshop (half-day/full day) and number of 
expected participants of the workshop (e.g., past history of the 
workshop, if applicable).
* Two references to the most relevant publication within the workshop 
topic area (e.g. from past workshops)

Workshop organizers are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals as 
early as possible for proposals are evaluated on a continuous basis 
right after their arrival.Particularly successful workshops may be 
accepted earlier which allows for more time for advertising the event.

All notifications will be sent out no later than August 5th.

Presentations delivered during the workshops are typically based on 
extended abstracts or position papers up to 6 pages that have been 
selected through peer-review process and are included in the conference 
proceedings (if not planed otherwise, e.g. for industrial workshops). 
The preliminary call included in the proposal should thus already 
include initial submission information. Please note that in order to 
provide the venue and to allow inclusion of the workshop into the 
proceedings, workshop participants will be required to register for the

* Workshop proposal deadline: August 3rd
* Workshop proposal notification deadline: August 5th (Prioritized 
notifications before proposal deadline are possible)
* Workshop paper cam-ready deadline: September 30th(!)
