EXTENDED DEADLINE: Wednesday, January 20th, 2016



Dear Colleagues,

We wish you a happy New Year 2016, and as a present we are pleased to inform you that the deadline for submission to the EARLI SIG2 meeting 2016 on “Comprehension of text and graphics” in Geneva, Switzerland (11-13 July, 2016) has been extended to January 20th, at 20h00 (UTC /GMT +1). Submission should be 3 A4 pages long at the maximum and should follow the templates provided on the web site.

The main objective of this EARLI SIG 2 conference is to bring together junior and senior researchers to share and exchange ideas about the latest research on learning with text and/or with graphical representations like pictures, diagrams, or animations.

The central theme of the meeting is: “ Learning from text and graphics in a world of diversity”

== Important dates ==

* Submission deadline: January 20th, 2016

* Notification to authors: end of March 2016

 New in 2016

Two Best Awards for Junior researchers: a "Best Paper Award" and a "Best Poster Award" will be distributed for outstanding contributed papers in which the first author is a PhD student!
