CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
INTETAIN 2016

The INTETAIN  2016 Organizing Committee invites proposals for half-day workshops to be held in conjunction with the conference, in Utrecht, the Netherlands, June 2016.

The International Conference on Intelligent Technologies for Interactive Entertainment (INTETAIN 2016) aims to address all the issues concerning relationships between human-computer interaction and entertainment.  The objective of INTETAIN 2016 is to attract high state-of-art research contributions, tutorials, and position papers that address the broad challenges faced in using innovative and interactive technologies/tools in order to create entertainment contents.

A workshop proposal should contain:
- A 1-page proposal with names and bio of organizers
- A brief description of the specific technical issues that the workshop will address
- Explanation of relevance to INTETAIN.

All proposals should be submitted by electronic mail to
[log in to unmask] before January 15, 2016.
Notification of acceptance is planned for January 31.

Workshops are planned to take place in the afternoon of June 30th.

Topics for this conference include, but are not limited to:
- Game and interface design:  tools & theories
- Game characters: virtual, tele-presence & storytelling
- Games-in-X: education, transport & public spaces
- Gamification: principles and serious games
- Human factors: emotion, immersion, skill & style
- Human-X interaction:  media, music, robot & animal
- Intelligent environments: ambient, virtual & mixed reality
- Interactive media: TV, social media, art & storytelling
- Invasion of entertainment: mobile, guides & companions
- Novel interfaces: affective, multimodal, bodily interaction
- Novel sensors: techniques & case studies
- Enabling technologies: agent technology & machine learning
