The IUI 2016 student volunteer (SV) lottery is now open! Go to
http://chisv.org/IUI2016/ to enroll.
Student volunteers are vital for the success of the IUI conference. In return
for volunteering at the conference, each SV gets:
* Free conference registration
* A beautiful t-shirt
* Stronger connections with students, attendees, and other contributors
* MORE!
SVs must be undergraduate, Master's, or Ph.D. students during the 2015-2016
academic year. Students of all backgrounds, regardless of discipline, are
encouraged to apply. You do not need to have a paper accepted to
participate. While registration fees are waived, SVs will still be
responsible for funding their own accommodations and travel to and from the
conference. No previous student volunteer experience is required, but we
are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and responsible people. Volunteers
must arrive one day early for the conference to attend SV training (March
6, 2016) and commit to 20 volunteer hours of work at the conference over
March 7-10, 2016.
Please note that enrollment does not mean that you have been selected. We
will run a lottery and notify students of their status in mid-December.
