Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the call for posters, demos
and doctoral colloquium submissions of the 2017 ACM International
Joint Conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing (UbiComp 2017)
& the 2017 International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC 2017).
The plain text of the call is provided below. For further information
please visit: or Apologies to those of you who have

Posters, demos, and doctoral colloquium submissions are an important
part of the UbiComp and ISWC 2017 program. They provide researchers
with an opportunity to present their latest, cutting-edge research.
Posters and demos can: cover preliminary or exploratory work within
the field of wearable, ubiquitous, and pervasive computing; report
about smaller projects or results that are still maturing towards a
full paper submission; or present any other research that would
encourage discussion. The doctoral colloquium is a unique opportunity
for PhD students to present their key concepts and ideas to a premier
scientific audience and to receive high-quality feedback from
excellent external reviewers, a global scientific audience, and some
of the best of their peers.

Poster, demo, or doctoral colloquium submissions are extended
abstracts prepared using the SIGCHI Extended Abstracts template.
Submissions must not be anonymized! Additional material is also
required, as detailed below.

Extended abstracts and all additional material should be submitted to
the Online Submission System (PCS) at: All accepted
submissions will be included in UbiComp/ISWC 2017 Adjunct Proceedings
and in the ACM Digital Library.

Please make sure that your submitted abstract complies with all the
formatting guidelines and is ready for publication, since there will
be very little time to make major revisions.

Posters, demos, and doctoral colloquium submissions have the same
dates for submission, notification of acceptance and camera-ready
 - Submission: June 9, 2017
 - Notification of acceptance: June 30, 2017
 - Camera-ready abstracts due: July 14, 2017
