* Call for Participation: International Workshop on Human-Engaged Computing

Venue: Kochi University of Technology, Japan (

Date: November 10 -11, 2017

* Early Registration Deadline: October 10, 2017


The aim of this workshop is to rethink the relationship between humans and
computers under consideration of human future. The workshop strives to
achieve a common platform to increase various idea exchanges around the
world, resulting evolvement of stronger workforce in order to create a
better world to live in.  Seven distinguished speakers (see for details) around the world from several domains
such as human-computer interaction, human-computer interaction, humanities,
design, computer science, cognitive science, will give their different
views on this topic.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage themselves in immersive
and highly engaging talks as well as to discuss their views about the
future relationship between humans and computers through talks as well as a
panel discussion. We also arrange a technical tour showcasing projects
currently pursuing in the Center for Human-Engaged Computing (
