Fully funded PhD studentship available within the Human-Computer Interaction Group at the Department of Computer Science, University of Bath, UK.

A fully funded PhD studentship is available to explore the design of systems to extract meaningful insights from Personal Tracking/‘Quantified Self’ data (e.g. wearable devices, smartphones, activity logging services). This project will develop data processing algorithms, interactive data visualizations, and design guidelines to support users in interacting with, and understanding, their data.

The succesfful candidate will join a strong team of postgraduate students working within the Human Computer Interaction group, and will be part of a vibrant student body within the university, with opportunities to interact scientifically and socially.
