ECCE 2016 - European Conference on Cognitive Ergonomics - Simulation, visualisation and digital technologies: 5-8 September 2016, The University of Nottingham, UK. http://ecce2016.eace.net/
Call for Workshop proposals

Submissions for one-day or half-day workshops are invited. The workshops will be held on 5 September 2016 at the Coates building (C28), the day before the ECCE 2016 conference and the same day as the Doctoral Consortium. Workshop organisers should submit a two-page proposal using the Word Template (Download template<http://www.sigchi.org/publications/chipubform/sigchi-paper-format-2016/view>). This should describe:

  * title and topic of the workshop
  *   outline schedule
  * minimum and maximum numbers of participants envisaged
  * how people will participate, including how they are recruited and motivated to participate
  * the aim and potential outcomes of the workshop (e.g. writing/editing a book, a research proposal, creating a prototype or a special issue for a journal).

The organising committee of the workshop should have members from at least two different organisations or institutes. International consortia are welcomed and preferred. In addition, a cover letter should be included with background information about the workshop organisers and any similar events they have organised previously.

Accepted workshops will provide a short description of the workshop for publication on the conference web site containing the workshop title, abstract, names, affiliation of the organisers, and position paper submission or other participation requirements. Workshops will run subject to a minimum and a maximum number of participants. Note that organisers and participants must register for the conference

  1. Submit your workshop proposal via the EasyChair reviewing system<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ecce2016>.
  2. Indicate that your submission is a workshop proposal.
  3. Include the names, affiliations and contact data in the form.
  4. Upload your submission using the Word template<http://www.sigchi.org/publications/chipubform/sigchi-paper-format-2016/view> as a Word or PDF document.
  5. Questions may be directed at Geert de Haan ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) and Tess Roper ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>), ECCE 2016 Programme chairs.
Workshop organisers are responsible for, and free to decide and specify if, how, and where to publish accepted position papers.

  *   Submission: 25 March 2016 -> extended a week to 31 March

Notification of acceptance: 31 March 2016
