ACM HYPERTEXT 2016
27th ACM Conference on Hypertext and Social Media
10-13 July 2016 - Halifax, Canada

http://ht.acm.org/ht2016/

EXTENDED PROCEEDINGS:
* Creative Track
* Late-Breaking Results
* Doctoral Consortium
* Workshop Papers

Submission deadline: 6 May 2016

CONFERENCE SCOPE

The ACM Hypertext conference is a premium venue for high quality
peer-reviewed research on hypertext theory, systems and applications. It is
concerned with all aspects of modern hypertext research including social
media, semantic web, dynamic and computed hypertext and hypermedia as well
as narrative systems and applications.

Hypertext 2016 will focus on missing links on the WWW: how can the
Hypertext paradigm and research inspire and improve the Web? Which missing
links (and linking paradigms) can improve connections, communication and
collaboration? Apart from the regular research tracks, Hypertext 2016 will
feature a creative track.

The conference will take place at the campus of Dalhousie University in
Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia and the major cultural centre of
Canada’s Atlantic provinces.

EXTENDED PROCEEDINGS

The Extended Proceedings provide a publication opportunity for early stage
research results, as compared to the full-paper track of the conference.
Accepted papers will be presented at the poster session during Hypertext
2016. Submission categories are:

CREATIVE TRACK
Track Chair: Stacey Mason (University of California, Santa Cruz, USA)

In the wake of a booming resurgence of interest in creative hypertext over
recent years, we are increasingly seeing new directions and possibilities
for artists exploring the creative potential of the link. This year, we are
delighted to offer a space for exhibition and performance of creative
hypertext works at the conference venue.

LATE-BREAKING RESULTS
Chairs: Kevin Koidl (Trinity College Dublin) and Ben Steichen (Santa Clara
University)

This session is a venue for early stage research results, as compared to
the full-paper track of the conference. Late-breaking results contain
original and unpublished accounts of innovative research ideas, preliminary
results, industry showcases, and system prototypes. Papers can cover any of
the 3 full paper tracks listed for Hypertext 2016
