Technically Sponsored by the Spanish Chapter of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society (ITSS), and the IEEE ITSS education program, we are organizing the first Summer School on Smart Mobility in Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands Spain.

Dates: July 14-15. 2016.
Venue: Universidad de Verano de Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain.
Co-Chairs: Leopoldo Acosta Sánchez (ULL), Javier J. Sánchez Medina (ULPGC)

The program is still tentative, but check out this website and our twitter account (@SmartMobilitySS) for getting all the updates.

The main purpose of the present summer course is to give students a wide panoramic of the current State of the Art in Smart Mobility. For that reason we are inviting top engineers and scientist coming from all Europe, also reputed as great communicators and teachers. They will provide the audience in an attractive and understandable way their vision. Their speeches will also be highly instructive and illustrative, since they will talk about their current research developments.

A potential student of this course does not need any previous education but the passion for learning, since every lecture will start right from the beginning. However, people already educated on engineering and science will also enjoy and extend their knowledge, since these group of professors are sharing their latest results and conclusions, some of them unpublished.
