Postdoctoral Researcher in Software Engineering
Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre,

Lero, the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre has been
jointly established by the University of Limerick, Dublin City
University, University College Dublin and Trinity College Dublin to
advance the state of the art in Software Engineering in Ireland.
Lero is supported by Science Foundation Ireland under the CSET
Centres for Science Engineering and Technology programme.
Essential
* PhD in computer science, software engineering, or closely
related field.
* Demonstrated ability to produce high quality research
publications.
* Some experience in designing and/or conducting empirical
research
Desirable
* Knowledge and skills in quantitative and qualitative methods for
evaluating software engineering technologies (methods, techniques,
tools) demonstrated by publications.
* Some experience of writing project proposal
* Some experience of supervising research students
* Some experience of international collaboration
Lero offers a creative environment with a possibility to conduct
high quality research on a global scale. There will be
opportunities to collaborate with national and international
academic and industry partners. There is the possibility to gain/
extend knowledge and experience in the Software Product Line
Engineering area. Successful candidates would also be encouraged
to define future projects that fit Lero's research portfolio and
to get involved in supervising postgraduate students.
Salary Scale: 39,589 - 56,143 EUR per annum
