IJHCS is a world-widely distributed journal published by
Academic Press on the topic of HCI, with the largest number
of subscribers in the world. This special issue is
dedicated to report state-of-the-art HCI research that
has been conducted in Japan.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by an international
review committee specifically formed for this issue, and
5-10 papers will be accepted for the publication depending
on the quality of the papers.

The International Journal of Human-Computer Studies (IJHCS)

on both the theory and practice of human-computer
interaction and the human-machine interface. The journal
