The HCIL's celebration of our latest research is just two weeks away! We
hope you'll join us *Thursday, May 25, 2017 *at the Computer Science
Instructional Center (CSIC) on the University of Maryland campus for a day
of talks, workshops, tutorials, and demos!

This year's plenary speakers are *Gregg C. Vanderheiden* and *J. Bern
Jordan* of the Trace Center <http://trace.umd.edu/>, and HCIL founder and HCI
pioneer <https://hcipioneers.wordpress.com/> *Ben Shneiderman*. Talks,
tutorials, and workshops from HCIL faculty and graduate students cover
topics including accessibility and inclusion, communities and crowds,
privacy and security, social media, visual analytics, usability testing,
and much more!
