We are organizing the 1st ACM Workshop on Mobile Crowdsensing Systems and Applications (CrowdSense'17), colocated with ACM SenSys'17 in Netherlands. Recently, with the proliferation of mobile devices with rich sensor peripherals and computation capability, mobile crowdsensing, a special form of crowdsourcing where communities contribute sensing information and human intelligence using mobile devices to form a body of knowledge, has gained much interest in a variety of environmental, commercial, and social applications. Mobile crowdsensing spans a wide spectrum of user involvement, from collecting sensor measurements with no user intervention to requiring active participation of mobile users. Despite some commercial success, wider adoption of mobile crowdsensing face the challenges of low data quality, incomplete data, few contributing participants, lack of killer applications, etc.



This workshop aims to bring together researchers in the field of mobile crowdsensing to exchange ideas and advance the research frontier. We invite submissions in the following non-exclusive list of topics:



* Mobile crowdsensing applications and case study

* Mobile crowdsensing platforms and systems

* Incentive mechanisms and the economics of mobile crowdsensing

* Data quality in mobile crowdsensing

* Privacy and security of mobile crowdsensed data

* Location and mobility prediction and inference



Paper submission deadline: July 31, 2017



Tentative date for notification: Aug 31, 2017

Submission Guidelines
Submitted papers must be no longer than 6 single-spaced 8.5" x 11" pages in PDF format, including figures, tables, and references, two-column format, using 10-point font and 1 inch margin. Please use the ACM latex template<https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template>. More help on preparing the document is also provided. Papers should not be anonymous. Papers that do not meet the size, formatting, and anonymization requirements will not be reviewed. Submitted papers must not be currently under review for any other publication. Before submitting your paper, please check the description of the workshop scope. Accepted submissions will be available on the ACM digital library.
