CADUI 2006: Computer-Aided Design of User Interfaces
6-8 June 2006
Bucharest, Romania
http://www.isys.ucl.ac.be/bchi/cadui/06/

Deadline for demonstrations: April 14th, 2006

Jointly with MIXER 2006: Design and Engineering of Mixed Reality Systems
********************************************************************

To make CADUI´06 an attractive, advanced,
envisioning and exciting large event, we call for
demonstrations. We invite researchers,
practitioners and developers to submit
demonstrations proposals to CADUI´06, the 6th
International Conference on Computer-Aided Design
of User Interfaces
(http://www.isys.ucl.ac.be/bchi/cadui/06/index.php),
a biennal conference focusing on models, methods,
and tools, for supporting the development life
cycle of interactive systems and their user
interfaces (UI).

Demonstrations feature mature innovative systems
or early prototypes ranging from advanced UIs to
tools for supporting the development and/or
evaluation of UIs. Although running demos are
obviously welcome and promoted, we also encourage
submissions of demonstrations of prototypes that
are under development. The accepted papers will
be presented at the conference and included in
the conference proceedings.

The submission should include:
1) A 8 pages paper that summarizes the system and
possibly provides references to previously
published work. The paper should cover both
conceptual and implementational perspectives,
making explicit the coverage of the current
implementation. Papers are submitted in their
final versions. They must conform to the regular
conference submission format.

2) A short informal description of the
presentation. The authors are asked to sketch
their presentations making explicit whether they
will give live demonstrations, use films, slides,
etc. Note that authors are intended to bring
their own material for demonstrations.

3) If possible (not required but appreciated), a
video demonstrating the prototype.

Important Dates:
Demo submission: April 14th
Notification (acceptance or rejection): May 1st

The accepted demo papers will be published as a
chapter in the book "Computer-Aided Design of
User Interfaces V" (hardcover), to be published
by Springer-Kluwer.
