It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us at Multimedia '98, a
conference devoted to presenting and exploring technological and
artistic innovations in the field of multimedia. Technical issues,
theory, and practice will be presented and discussed as well as
business,
artistic, and consumer market applications. The conference will
bring together researchers, artists, developers, educators, performers,
and practitioners of multimedia. The conference will be held at the
University of Bristol, a significant centre for multimedia research.

Two days of pre-conference tutorials and workshops will be followed by
three days of technical programs, poster sessions, technical/artistic
demonstrations, and key-note speeches. The social program
includes a welcome cocktail reception, a buffet reception at HP
Laboratories in Bristol, and a dinner in historic Bath.

Details of the conference, registration information, and the full
Advanced Program can be found at
http://www.acm.org/sigmm/MM98/index.html.

Again, please note that early registration closes August 10.

So please come and join us in Bristol for a wonderful multimedia
experience.
