Funded PhD and MHCI in HCI on deformable user interactions

The Creative Interactions Lab is looking for masters and PhD students. Our lab focuses on deformable interactions and wearables, creating deformable prototypes and investigating various interaction styles. Our projects relate on a variety of topics including healthcare, rehabilitation, accessibility, games, digital art.

Our lab has a dynamic environment where we build physical prototypes, design interesting interactions and applications, and run user studies. Carleton has a strong HCI focus, with dedicated graduate programs on HCI and DM, and many HCI labs around campus.
We will support masters students for two years, and PhD students for four years, through TAships (for Canadian students) and RAships, with available conference travel.
