Hi David.
Part of the problem may be that the plug-in is Firefox specific. If
your audience is a general audience, IE is still much more common.
The other thing that may help is to offer some sort of incentive.
People are generally very selfish and won't do something if there's
nothing in it for them. : ) But if you give them *something* then
they'll be more inclined to help you with your research.
What you offer depends on the type of people you want to reach.
Students will come in for just about anything, for example, but
doctors require $200+ incentives. As another example, I just
distributed a survey to educators and offered a $15 gift certificate
to Amazon, which is generally enough for one book. If you have a
budget for your project, this is a good place to use it.
