Hi - I am in the process of selecting a video camera to use to record
usabiity sessions. Can people recommend some good features to look for in
a camera for this purpose? Can you suggest particular brands?

I envision positioning the camera over the participant's shoulder from
behind, to capture the side of their face and the screen, or recording the
screen from a 2nd monitor. Some features that seem important might be the
ability to adjust video scan rate to match the monitor scan rate, and time
stamp, but having little experience buying cameras for this purpose I'd
appreciate benefiting from the wisdom of people on this list!

Thanks

Kay
