Does anyone have any examples or experience with Web sites that let 
users hide/show a left-side navigation bar? Click something and the 
nav bar goes away; click again and it appears. Seems like a good way 
to gain some data space and might be useful for deep pages in an 
informational Web site.

I'll summarize.
