First Workshop on Safety Certification of Smart Cyber-Physical Systems
16 September 2014, Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE, Kaiserslautern

Smart Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) harbor the potential for significant economic and societal impact. To prevent failures, safety-critical systems must be certified. However, due to the very nature of CPS, establishing certification criteria is a challenge. This workshop will bring together important stakeholders from certification authorities, industry, and academia in order to discuss new ways of defining certification criteria for cyber-physical systems.
We invite you to join us in attempting to bridge the gap between first research results and the commonly accepted state of the art.
