*Research fellowship in the mobeybou project*

*Project Summary*
MoBeyBOU: Moving Beyond Boundaries - Designing Narrative Learning in the
Digital Era, sets out to contribute to the development of knowledge about
the learning and socializing potential of digital manipulatives (DM) among
young children and at the same time investigate its potential in the
enhancement of children's multiculturalism. The project involves the
development of a digital manipulative for story creation and playful
exploration, that combines a wide range of multicultural characters and
scenarios.

*Workplace**:* The project is located at the University of Minho in Braga,
a UNESCO city of Media Arts, within the Research Centre on Child Studies
(CIEC) and the engageLab laboratory in collaboration with Aalborg
University within the X-lab laboratory and a Danish industry partner.
*WORK PLAN*
- Development of a tool for representation and visualization for developing
interaction scenarios between agents to create a storytelling platform.
- Creation of an editor of autonomous agents that allows editing the
behavior of characters in a multimedia environment.
*Duration* - 6 months from Oktober 1st and may be renewed up to the 18
months (Possibility to apply for a PhD research grant)
*Requirements* - Master degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic
Engineering, Systems and Information Technologies, Art and Technology,
Multimedia, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge in the field of programming.
Preference will be given to candidates with
- Advanced knowledge in Unity
- Experience in WEB Development
- Experience in developing solutions for mobile devices, especially in the
areas of multimedia, games or computer graphics
Legislation and regulations: The scholarships are directed to applicants
under the law n.ยบ40/2004 of August 18th (Research Grant Holder Statute) and
the current conditions established on the FCT regulations
