Dear Colleagues,

ICCS-2017 paper submission deadline is extended to January 31, 2017. Please forward the news to your colleagues.
We hope this will give you time to enjoy Christmas and New Year holidays and to finalize your papers.

News:
----------------------------------
[1] Main Track submission deadline extended to January 31. Please submit a short abstract now to indicate your interest https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs2017

[2] 19 thematic workshops may have different deadlines, but they normally keep submission open as long as the Main Track does. For details, check the workshop webpages or contact workshop organizers http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2017/registered-workshops

[3] In addition to the Full Paper submission, we offer a Presentation Only option (a short abstract is published in a book of abstracts, but not in proceedings). You may also go for a Poster presentation, with or without a full paper. These options are available in the EasyChair submission webpage https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iccs2017

[4] Please forward the call to your colleagues or tack a poster to your door

Call for papers
----------------------------------
Authors are invited to submit manuscripts reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in Computational Sciences.

All accepted papers will be published in the open-access Procedia Computer Science (http://www.journals.elsevier.com/procedia-computer-science) and indexed by Scopus, ScienceDirect and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation (former ISI Proceedings), an integrated index within the Web of Science. After the conference, selected papers will be invited for a special issue of the Journal of Computational Science (Impact Factor 1.078; 5-year Impact Factor 1.553; http://www.journals.elsevier.com/journal-of-computational-science).

The ICCS conference is the prime annual event in Computational Science. This interdisciplinary conference on modeling and simulation of real-world phenomena will draw academic and industry leaders from all relevant fields. ICCS intends to provide a forum to disseminate world-leading research in the field of Computational Science and in particular to highlight the role which modeling and simulation plays in future scientific discovery.

The conference theme this year is "The Art of Computational Science. Bridging Gaps – Forming Alloys". Papers with an interdisciplinary focus that highlight the role of computational science in tackling problems and creating synergies with other fields will be particularly welcomed.

ICCS 2016 invites original contributions on all topics related to Computational Science, including, but not limited to:

   * Scientific Computing
   * Problem Solving Environments
   * Advanced Numerical Algorithms
   * Complex Systems: Modelling and Simulation
   * Hybrid Computational Methods
   * Web- and Grid-based Simulation and Computing
   * Parallel and Distributed Computing
   * Advanced Computing Architectures and New Programming Models
   * Visualization and Virtual Reality as Applied to Computational Science
   * Applications of Computation as a Scientific Paradigm
   * New Algorithmic Approaches to Computational Kernels and Applications
   * Computational Humanities
   * Education in Computational Science
   * Large Scale Scientific Instruments
   * Computational Sociology
   * Medical and Biomedical Computational Science

In addition, 19 thematic workshops are organized: http://www.iccs-meeting.org/iccs2017/registered-workshops

ICCS is an ERA 2010 A-ranked conference series.
