Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) play a vital role in
almost every aspect of daily life. ICTs are so fundamental to modern life
that they now find many applications in the wide diversity of people,
groups, industries and institutions in every corner of our world. The way
humans relate to ICTs and the impact these technologies have on human
lives, relationships, human potential and human capabilities is the special
interest of HEC. That is why we have invited seven distinguished speakers
from several domains - Human-Computer Interaction, the humanities,
engineering design, computer science and cognitive science.

A very important part of the workshop is THE POSTER PRESENTATION through
which participants can introduce their research findings, discuss their
work, foster collaborations and propose and develop underlying
methodological frameworks, all with the intention of driving the ICT field
forward in fuller awareness of the place, function and responsibilities of
humanity in the nature of things.

The poster track invites submissions from all ICT areas. We especially seek
contributions that showcase early, relatively speculative and/or not yet
completed work. Authors are required to submit a 1-page poster paper
including author information and a description of the study. Submitted
poster papers should follow the Workshop Poster template (Word: Download
here). Accepted posters should be brought to the venue and placed on
designated notice boards. Note that,

1. The poster size should be A0 (84.1 x 118.4cm, 33.11 x 46.61 inches).
2. A small desk can be provided on request.
3. There is no AC power supply for poster presentations.

Please note also that there is no requirement to anonymize poster
submissions and at least one author of each accepted poster must register
for the workshop.
