15th IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC)
Las Vegas, January 12-15, 2018
(Held in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show)

The IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference (CCNC),
sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society, is a major annual
international conference. Taking advantage of its co-location with the
International CES (the world's largest trade show on consumer technology),
CCNC is organized with the objective of bringing together researchers,
developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all
areas of consumer communications and networking technologies. CCNC 2018
will feature high quality keynotes, plenary talks, technical papers,
workshops, work-in-progress, industry panels, tutorials, and

Submissions are welcomed for the following technical tracks in consumer
communications and networking:

Track 1: Networking solutions for Games, Multimedia, Social Good, and P2P
Track 2: Cloud Services and Networking
Track 3: Wireless Communications: MAC and Cross-Layer Design
Track 4: Wireless Communications: Fundamentals and PHY
Track 5: Mobile and Wireless Networks
Track 6: Sensing, Smart Spaces and IoT: Applications and QoE
Track 7: Security, Privacy and Content Protection
Track 8: Mobile and Wearable Devices, Services and Applications
Track 9: Vehicular Communications and Applications in Water, Land, and Sky
Track 10: Emerging Topics in Consumer Communications and Networking

Acceptance Notification: September 17, 2017


Prospective authors are invited to submit Work-in-Progress (WiP) papers
related to all areas of consumer communications and networking that
summarizes speculative breakthroughs, industry featured projects, open
problems, new application challenges, visionary ideas, and preliminary
studies or recent achievements that are not quite ready for a regular
full-length technical paper.

The CCNC 2018 organizing committee invites proposals for tutorials, which
are half-day (3 hours) or full-day (6 hours) in length and will take place
on the first and last day of the conference (January 12 and 15).  We seek
proposals across a wide range of topics and levels — ranging from
fundamentals to the latest advances in hot topic areas. Topics of interest
include all areas of consumer communications and networking.

We invite researchers and developers from academic, industrial, and
government laboratories to present their novel ideas and demonstrations of
original research prototypes. CCNC especially welcomes demonstrations of
emerging and innovative technologies that have potential commercial
application from nascent and incubating companies.  In addition, authors
that have a demonstration component in their work and are planning to
submit their papers to the main technical tracks are highly encouraged to
also submit proposals to the demonstration session.
