Due to power outages in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Seattle WA and
Vancouver BC, the submission deadline for Graphics Interface has been
extended until 5PM Pacific Time on December 22nd.

Please pass this message along to anyone you know who is considering
submission to Graphics Interface 2007.

Graphics Interface 2007

May 28 - 30, 2007 Montreal, QC, Canada

GI 2007 will be the 33rd Graphics Interface conference. We invite
full-paper (up to 8-page) submissions on recent advances in interactive
systems, human computer interaction, and graphics. All submissions are
fully peer reviewed by two members of the program committee and two external
reviewers. Accepted papers will be archived in the ACM Digital Library.

Important Dates:
Submission deadline: December 22, 2006 (New!)
Author notification: February 19, 2007

tracks. Topics of interest at GI include (but are not restricted to):

Interaction techniques
Interactive systems
Computer-supported cooperative work
Human interface devices
HCI methods and tools
Mobile computing
Haptic and tangible interfaces
Multimodal interaction
HCI case studies and evaluation
Information visualization

Virtual reality
Augmented reality
Shading and rendering
Geometric modeling and meshing
Graphics in simulation
Image-based rendering
Image synthesis and realism

GI 2007 is held in conjunction with the Computer and Robot Vision 2007
(CRV), the Artificial Intelligence 2007 (AI), and the Precarn Intelligent
Systems (Precarn IS) conferences. A single registration will permit
attendees to attend any talk in the four conferences (GI, AI, CRV, Precarn
IS), which will be scheduled in parallel tracks. The conference will also
include a banquet and a posters/demos session.
