Assets 2002 --- 8-10 July 2002 --- Edinburgh, Scotland
ASSETS 2002 is a conference about computer-based systems designed to address
the special needs of people with disabilities. The conference's scope
spans special needs associated with speech, motor, hearing, and vision
impairments; cognitive limitations; and emotional and learning disabilities.
Researchers and developers, from both academia and industry, are invited to
meet to exchange ideas and present reports on new hardware and/or software
advances related to these areas.
Authors of selected technical papers will be invited to publish extended
versions of their papers in a special issue of Universal Access in the
Information Society (UAIS), an international, interdisciplinary, refereed
journal published by Springer
