Workshop on Content Protection & Forensics (CPAF 2011)
http://www.cemnet.ntu.edu.sg/cpaf2011/index.html

In Conjunction with the IEEE International Conference
on Multimedia and Expo (ICME 2011)
Barcelona, Spain, July 11-15, 2011

Abstract: Digital media capturing, creation and distribution are growing due to the advancement in capturing technologies and various types of media distribution technologies. Users of these technologies are concerned about the protection of the digital media against tampering, copying and redistribution and their rights such as privacy. In addition sometimes the captured media is used as evidence in the court of law. But being digital, the media is neither safe from unauthorized distributions nor can be considered authentic. Digital media can easily be perfectly replicated and distributed through digital networks or through stored media. They can easily be edited using today’s digital media editing tools and thus forge evidence. Thus protecting contents against unauthorized copying and distribution and detecting forgery using forensics techniques are of great importance and challenge in multimedia related research. This workshop on content protection and forensics is intended to bring forth the current advancements in media content protection and media forensics areas.

Prospective authors are invited to submit a full paper (two-column format, maximum 6 pages in length) according to the guidelines at the website: http://www.icme2011.org/. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
