Dear all,

*Apologies for cross-posting. International Summer School on Experimental
Play 2018- sponsored by SIGCHI November 1 - 4, 2018, RMIT University,
Melbourne, AustraliaBuilding on the inaugural SIGCHI Summer School on
Playful Interactions held at RMIT University in 2017, we are organising the
2018 international summer school centred on the theme of “ Experimental
Play ”. This summer school is co-located with ACM CHI PLAY 2018, a SIGCHI
conference which is also happening in Melbourne, Australia, just a day
before. This summer school is lead by experts in the fields of game design,
player-computer interaction and games programming. With a hands-on approach
to teaching, we will cover the various aspects that are brought together in
modern game development and experimental game design research. There is a
strong focus on developing skills through practical sessions, which will
give students direct experience in building and studying games and most
importantly they will "learn about fun by having fun". To get more idea,
please check the short documentary covering the last year's summer school:
https://vimeo.com/269990050 <https://vimeo.com/269990050>We invite students

summer school is: 30th July 2018. Please submit your proposal containing:1)
