If you haven't heard yet it is possible later this month for you to
combine a visit to Vienna with an opportunity to take one or more
CHI2004 tutorials which can contribute to your professional
development. The critical dates you need to know are the 24th - 26th
of April, with the rest of the conference on the following three

Or, if you are already planning on going to the CHI 2004 conference
you might you might also give some thought to continuing your
professional development by taking one or more of the CHI 2004
tutorials that wait for you in Vienna.
As have previous years' tutorials co-chairs, this year we have aimed
at offering a program of tutorials which addresses several different
aspects of professional development for CHI Community members or
other people interesting in the various aspects of Human Computer

focused on the cognitive and social aspects of HCI.
If your background is in the behavioral sciences you will find

If you need to hone your understanding of usability work or of
setting up the facilities to collect and analyze usability

aspects of HCI.
If you are a manager or are planning on a move into management or
consulting you will find tutorials focused on the business aspects of
