FULL PAPERS (up to 10 pages)

Full papers are submissions describing results and original research work
not submitted or published elsewhere in one of the four main categories
listed above. Full papers should place the work within the field, cite
related work, and clearly indicate the innovative aspects of the work and
its contribution to the field. The page limit for full papers is 10 pages
including references, but can also be shorter. They should follow the ACM
formatting guidelines (see Initial Submission
<http://createnet.mailmta.com/nl/link?c=1afj3&d=3lo&h=1dk53rtqri4kfge81mtctufaif&i=2s7&iw=1&p=H164428709&s=lp&sn=2bp&z=1bao>
).
New for 2019! No short papers

There is no separate short paper submission type. Rather authors are
encouraged to choose the length according to the scope of the paper.
Shorter papers do not have lower chances of acceptance. The scope of the
paper in relation to its length will be part of the reviewing criteria.
New for 2019! Rising Stars

PervasiveHealth is committed to serving as a forum for dissemination of
important work in technologies for health and to promoting insightful
discussions and exchange of ideas. To create more opportunities for early
dissemination and feedback, we introduce a new category, Rising Stars. We
will select 10-12 high quality submissions that fell just below acceptance
bar for publication and invite them to present their work as posters. These
submissions will also have a chance to present their work during rapid-fire
oral presentations. Participation in this will be entirely voluntary and at
the discretion of the authors. For submissions that elected to participate
in the Rising Stars category, 2-page abstracts will be included in the
printed proceedings to avoid interference with future publications.

(TBC) All accepted and presented papers will be published by ACM and made
available through ACM Digital Library.

PervasiveHealth proceedings are indexed in leading indexing services,
including Ei Compendex, ISI Web of Science, Scopus, CrossRef, Google
Scholar, DBLP, as well as EAI’s own EU Digital Library (EUDL).

All accepted authors are eligible to submit an extended version in a fast
track of: EAI Endorsed Transactions on Pervasive Health and Technology
<http://createnet.mailmta.com/nl/link?c=1afj3&d=3lo&h=186m8ahhqg1e79tk4aepl4tiok&i=2s7&iw=1&p=H573252935&s=lp&sn=2bp&z=1bau>

PAPER SUBMISSION

A thorough reviewing process will ensure that authors receive high-quality
feedback on their submissions. Submissions must be anonymized. Each paper
will be double-blind, peer-reviewed by members of the Pervasive Health 2019
program committee with additional expert reviewers drawn from relevant
research domains. Submissions will be evaluated based on their originality,
significance of the contribution to the field, technical correctness,
appropriateness of length for the paper’s scope, and presentation. The
paper should make explicit how the work offers unique and substantial
contribution beyond what has already been published or submitted. Authors
will be invited to submit their camera-ready papers in ACM format, to be
published in ACM Digital Library.

Papers should be submitted through EasyChair
<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=pervasivehealth2019>, and have to
comply with the ACM format (see Author’s kit section
<http://pervasivehealth.org/authors-kit/>). Find more information about
Initial submission here
<http://pervasivehealth.org/initial-submission-easychair/>.

In the previous years, the acceptance rate of the Pervasive Health
Conference was below 30%, being 24% in 2018.
